Abstract: This paper describes the assessment process designed and implemented for an undergraduate program in information technology (IT) with specific emphasis on course-level assessment and discusses how the course-level assessment data can be used in the ABET CAC accreditation process. Several examples of course-level assessment data collected at Georgia Southern University are provided. The authors also attempt to illustrate that, while the actual design of the assessment process was time-consuming, the additional load on faculty to gather the relevant data is not too arduous.
