Abstract: In preparation for Millikin University accreditation assessment committees were formed at the university and college levels to facilitate the process. The learning goals/objectives of each college and department need to be soundly rooted in the university’s mission statement. This paper shares some of the University’s and department’s experiences, and outlines a procedure for developing an assessment strategy to achieve accreditation and to improve the program.
