Abstract: This paper describes one department’s efforts to institute a program assessment process. Based on the results of a previously conducted pilot assessment, the department is in its second assessment loop. Some theoretical foundations of outcomes assessment are provided and their suitability for the Management Information Systems discipline is discussed.
