Abstract: This study examines the effectiveness of online, hybrid and on-ground course delivery methods through a quantitative survey of students enrolled in Computer Information Systems courses at three universities during the 2016-2017 academic year. The results showed that 54% of the students prefer on-ground over online course delivery method with females and younger students expressing the most preference for the on-ground vs. online course delivery. Completely online course delivery was perceived as moderately effective with significant demographic differences based on both gender and age. Females and older students expressed completely online course delivery as more effective. The hybrid course delivery method was perceived as being more effective than the completely online course delivery method and the on-ground course delivery method was perceived as being the most effective. There were no significant demographic differences based on gender or age for hybrid or on-ground course delivery method
