IS Ed Journal Sponsors
ISEDJ exists because of the sponsorship of EDSIG and its relationship
to ISECON. EDSIG exists because of its relationship to AITP. ISECON
exists because of its relationship to EF. Each of these is an
important stakeholder in the success of ISEDJ.

EDSIG is the Education Special Interest Group of AITP. EDSIG carries
out several important mandates in the world of Information Systems
Education. First, they organize and carry out the annual ISECON
conference (mentioned below) held each fall. Second, they publish
JISE (mentioned below), the Journal of Information Systems Education.
Third, they publish ISEDJ, the journal whose web site you are reading
at this moment. They also carry out other activities, such as the
designation and honoring of an IS Educator of the Year.

ISECON is the Annual Conference for Information Systems Educators,
held each year in October or November. It is a four-day conference
with workshops on Thursday and papers presented on Friday, Saturday,
and Sunday morning. ISECON has been held for many years as a venue
for IS Educators to meet, mingle, present papers, attend workshops,
get ideas, network with each other, and recharge their professional
batteries.

provides the corporate umbrella under which EDSIG operates.
